The challenge

Rosters, leave requests and tasks were tracked across chat threads and spreadsheets. Managers could not see who was doing what at a glance, and HR was chasing paper for every leave balance. The company had no single source of truth for who was employed, what they were supposed to be doing, and what had been approved.

What we did

1. 01

   Built a workforce platform covering the full day-to-day: employee records, shifts, leave, tasks and approvals — the complete operational loop, not just a roster view.

   Designed role-based access so each person sees only what they need — employee, manager, HR — with approvals routed to the right role automatically.

   Added the reports managers actually ask for — leave balances, shift coverage, task completion — rather than a generic dashboard nobody opens.

   Built a clean API layer so the platform can connect to payroll and access-control systems later, without a rebuild.

Outcome

One place for the workforce’s daily operation. Roster changes take effect immediately, leave balances are calculated rather than tracked by hand, and approvals leave a trail. The platform replaced a stack of spreadsheets and chat threads that nobody fully trusted.
