The challenge

Parents are not a technical audience — the portal has to be obvious on a phone, in a language they speak, and fast enough to use while waiting in a queue. The school also needed it to work for parents who are not confident with technology.

What we did

1. 01

   Designed the portal around the four things parents actually check: attendance, grades, fees and announcements.

   Built it mobile-first, because most parents would access it on a phone, not a desktop.

   Integrated fee payment so parents can settle balances without visiting the office.

   Delivered training sessions for office staff, so they can help parents who get stuck rather than the school depending on us.

Outcome

A portal parents use. Announcements are read, fees are paid on time, and the office spends less time answering the same questions. The school can publish updates itself.
